Czechoslovak pilots during the WWII served in RAF also in night fighting squadrons. The main unit by the view of the number of CZ aircrews was No.68 Night Fighter Squadron. This squadron was established during January 1941. Unit has flown subsequently with Bristol Blenheim, Bristol Beaufighter and DH Mosquito in various versions. During the WWII in this unit have changed 23 CZ pilots and 16 radar operators.

Our aircrews claimed totally 21 destroyed 3 probably destroyed 7 damaget enemy aircraft and also 3 destroyed V1 and 2 damaged Germany E-boats.
Aircrew compacted of pilot Miloslav Mansfeld and radar-operator Slavomil Janacek was the best Czechoslovak night fighting aircrew during the WWII. This aircrew claimed from 1941 till 1945 during its servis in No. 68 Night Fighter Squadron totally 9 destroyed and 1 damaged enemy aircraft and also 2 V1.

Czechoslovak pilots was very succesfull also in their duty in other night squadrons. Memorable was especially Karel Kuttelwasher in 1st squadron and also many others in No. 23, 25, 32, 96, 125, 255, 307 and 600 squadron.
